South Korean market trades higher (Nasdaq)

(RTTNews) - The South Korean stock market was trading higher on Friday, extending its gains for a fifth straight trading session. At 8:43 p.m. ET, the benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index or KOSPI was up 3.3 points or 0.3% at 1,179.2 after opening nearly 0.6% higher.
